Emergency Locking belts contain an angle sensitive mechanism designed to lock in the event of an accident. The webbing can only be extracted when the retractor is at its design intended angle.
The majority of ‘No release’ enquiries are for belts which have not yet been fitted. Bolt it rigidly at its design intended position and refer to instructions on our website for advice on releasing a locked retractor mechanism. This is especially important on belts incorporating the angle adjustable retractor.
Safety belts are homologated as complete assemblies therefore we do not sell buckles or retractors on their own. Changing one part only is not good practice as the system is only as good as the weakest link.

Securon do not make small volumes to order. For corporate customers Securon can design/homologate to meet specific standards/regulations for volume applications. Due to approval testing/costs this needs to be discussed with our engineering team.
Securon manufacture an extender suitable for Securon seatbelts only. This plugs in between the existing buckle and tongue and offers extra length when required for an individual who could not otherwise wear a safety. It must always be removed/unplugged when not required so that the standard belt can provide optimum protection for other users.
For safety reasons the extender is only available with red webbing. This part number is 223 and is available from distributors.
Securon car replacement belts are designed to fit both sides of the vehicle. Please check our Application list in the menu above.
We have stockists worldwide but inevitably some locations/product areas are not well covered. If you are interested in becoming a stockist, please bear in mind that the usual lead time is 10-15 working days and we do expect our stockists to hold our full range of belts so that we can confidently refer enquiries to them.
Securon do not manufacture restraints for animals as there are no recognised standards/regulations.
