Founded during 1973 by M.D. Ronnie Proctor & his late father O. A. Proctor, Securon has grown to be Britain's leading manufacturer of seat belts and auto safety equipment.

Securon manufacture and design Safety Restraints to meet National, International and Customer standards.  The range includes belts and harnesses for automotive, industrial, medical and motorsport use.

Securon facilities and expertise include light engineering, plastic injection moulding, webbing hot seal cutting, sewing, assembly and testing.

Our factories are equipped with up-to-date manufacturing and assembly processes to meet worldwide market requirements under a certified ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
Our products are manufactured, tested and approved to European and National Standards as and when required. Seat Belts and Harnesses generally comply with one or more of the following: ECE R16 and EEC 77/541, FIA 8854/98, FIA 8853/98, SAE J386 & SAE J2292. Identification of the relevant standard is carried on the product.  Products are also marked as required to identify the manufacturer, product, types etc.

FOR EUROPEAN STANDARDS
Capital 'E' denotes ECE approval
Small 'e' denotes EEC approval
The number after 'E' and 'e' denotes country where approved for example: (i.e. France 2, Italy 3 & Luxembourg 13).
The first series of numbers denotes approval number
The bottom series of numbers denotes serial number
