| DEACTIVATION |
Generally
contain a method of deactivation:
·
Loosen the Retractor or Pretensioner mounting Bolt.
or
· Use the pin/fork attached to
the pretensioner.
or
· Turn or push the deactivation
Latch/Lever.

Generally
deactivated by disarming the SRS
- Switch
off ignition, remove key and disconnect
all battery leads. Wait 30 mins.
- Disconnect,
tape and unobtrusively secure the
cable from the pretensioner.
- To prevent
the SRS warning light remaining
illuminated (on the dashboard) it may be
necessary to simulate the pretensioner by replacing
it with a 2.3 Ohm resistance across the taped cable.
- Ensure
vehicle interior is unoccupied when rearming.
Reconnect battery leads and switch on ignition.
- Check SRS
warning light operates.

Used
Seat Belts can be dangerous. Do not disassemble. Dispose of safely.
|
| SECURON
REPLACEMENT |
The
Securon Seat Belt system is a direct replacement approved to the
same European standard as a Seat Belt with a pretensioner. (It
will arrest the wearer within the same tolerances without the
need for a Pretensioner).
